What is the New Horizons Band of Hagerstown?

The New Horizons Band of Hagerstown is a local community band based in Hagerstown, MD. 

We provide musicians of all ages and experience levels with opportunities to develop

their musical skills through rehearsals, performances, and a diverse selection of music.

While many of our members are adults age 50 and older, everyone who enjoys music and wants to share their talents is welcome. No auditions are required—enthusiasm for making music is all you need.

The band performs at public events, music festivals, theaters, community and social gatherings, schools,

churches, and other local venues. Through our performances, we bring people together and

share the enjoyment of music with the community.

Our Mission

Our mission is to promote the enjoyment of music among our members and throughout

the community by rehearsing and performing a diverse program of music

at local events, festivals, and gatherings.
